Hey so the weather's been makin me feel super crafty and thrifty so I decided to make a feather bowtie!!! I was inspired by a Tommy Ton photograph http://www.style.com/trendsshopping/stylenotes/011210_Tommy_Ton_Menswear/.
Got my boy S to model it for me. He looks so cute. I plan on posting a how-to on Youtube by Tuesday when I figure out how to edit. Currently, a whopping 60 minutes long. The tie is definately a work in progress, but he made it look good. I plan on trying other techniques to making a feather bowtie in the near future.

I love Khol's so much! The store always offers a sale on quality products. Kohl's often sends out coupons that one can use on any item i.e, even clearance items! They have the best return policy and customer service. Also, I love Kohl's Power Hours and Kohl's Cash. Currently Kohl's is offering free shipping as well. Check out the pants I purchased today with the coupon I posted a bit ago. I am also including how I plan on styling it. This outfit is a good transition outfit from late Winter to Spring.

These are a black cropped pair of all season trousers from The Simply Vera by Vera Wang collection. The fabric is four seasons and has an interesting zipper detail. These were $34.99 plus %20 off and when pair correctly will look much more expensive!

This sweater is light, airy, and comfy in a chic relaxed fit, but still capable of providing warmth. The desert colour is the perfect match with black. I like the tan and black combo apposed to the white and black combo because sometimes it can read waitressy.
